Travel

Parking: If pay parking is required, it will be added to the bill and charge after the event.

Destination: Any service requiring over 2 hours of travel time or a ferry requires an overnight accommodation the night before. *Destinations are subject to additional time fees.

Ferry: Ferry Reservation is mandatory for island bookings. All rates as per BC Ferries. Ferry wait times are calculated into travel time.

  • Your appointment date and service will be secured when the signed contract and 30% non-refundable deposit received.


    5% GST will be added to all invoice

    - USD & International: PayPal for 40% deposit. Cash for final payment. PayPal fee will be added to your final invoice.

  • Due to the first come first serve and seasonal nature of the wedding industry, my cancellation poilicy is strict as I may not be able to book a replacement gig if a client cancels 90-60 days before the wedding.

    Full Deposit Refund: Available if the contract is canceled within 3 days of signing.

    • Non-Refundable Deposit: After the 3-day grace period, the deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable.

    • Cancellation Within 90 Days of Wedding: If canceled within 90 days of the wedding, the full remaining balance is due.

    • Cancellation with more than 90 Days Notice: If canceled more than 90 days before the wedding, 50% of the balance is due.

    • Late Bookings (60 days before event): Services are locked in and the full balance is due.

    • Adding Services: Additional services may be added if time allows.

    • Artist Cancellation: If the artist cancels and a replacement is not found, 100% of the deposit will be refunded via e-transfer. Jacqueline will assist in finding a replacement.

    • All changes or cancellations must be submitted in writing.

Destination Weddings

Planning a destination wedding calls for extra care, flexibility, and a seamless experience. To make your journey effortless, I offer a bespoke destination wedding package that includes:

  • We'll schedule a virtual consultation to discuss your wedding vision, makeup preferences, and any specific details related to your destination wedding.

  • Based on your style, theme, and the destination's climate, I will create a customized makeup look that ensures you look flawless from the ceremony to the final dance.

  • I will handle all travel arrangements, ensuring a stress-free journey to your wedding location.

  • For destination weddings, a pre-wedding trial becomes even more valuable. We can arrange this trial closer to your wedding date, ensuring everything is perfect for your big day.

  • On your wedding day, I will be there on-site, ensuring you and your bridal party look stunning throughout the festivities.

A wedding is considered destination over 2 hours of driving time and requires over night accommodation.

When to book a makeup artist for your wedding?

Some brides book their makeup artist up to a year in advance, especially if you're getting married during peak wedding season. I typically open my books for the season the fall (October) before which gives me a bit of time to breathe after a busy wedding season.

Booking multiple artists for larger bookings

I am no longer providing assistants for bookings larger than 6-7 services. For larger bookings of 7+ services, I’ll now be recommending or bringing in an additional independent artists at their standard professional rates rather than booking assistants. Due to the limited availability of assistants in the Sea to Sky region and the increasing challenges with scheduling reliability, this change helps ensure your wedding morning runs smoothly with experienced artists who are fully committed to your date. When artists are booked at assistant rates, it can create last-minute conflicts if they’re offered full-rate bookings elsewhere, which is a risk I don’t want to pass on to my clients. This updated approach allows me to secure dependable, high-quality support and provide the level of service and professionalism you deserve on such an important day.

  • Bridal Hair and Makeup Trial’s: This service is perfect for brides who want to preview their hair, makeup, or both before the wedding day. It’s a chance to explore your inspiration, test different looks, and find what works best for you. I highly recommend a trial for brides feeling unsure, nervous, or overwhelmed about their wedding style—it’s a great way to feel confident and prepared.

    Bridal Hair and Makeup Day of: This is your full wedding day service—choose makeup, hair, or both! It includes a phone consultation, day-of bridal styling, email support leading up to the big day, on-location service, a touch-up kit, and lashes.
    Please note: a trial is not included with this service. If you'd like to test your look beforehand, be sure to book a Bridal Trial separately.

    Guest Services: This service is for bridesmaids, mothers, guests, or anyone else wanting hair and/or makeup on your wedding day. It includes professional makeup application and hair styling. Lip touch-ups and additional false lashes are also available upon request.

    Return for touch ups / changes

    Please inquire with Jacqueline directly if you would like any touchups or changes later in the day. Fee’s start at $400 for this service.

    Early Mornings: All early mornings before 7:00am are subject to a early morning fee

  • What to expect

    This is our chance to connect, exchange ideas and inspiration, and for me to get familiar with your hair, features, and skin. Together, we'll work toward achieving your ideal wedding day look.

    After your trial, we may decide to incorporate extensions, or make any adjustments needed for the big day.

    • Duration: Trials last up to 2.5 hours. Additional time or restyling beyond this will incur an extra fee.

    • Location: Trials are held at Skwalwen Botanicals in downtown Squamish.

    • Availability:

      • November to April (wedding off-season)

    Please book early, as trial slots are limited during peak months.

  • All bridal makeup makeup include a touchup kit.

    The kit includes:

    Lip Colour Touchup, Powder Touch Up, Powder Puff, Mint, Toothpick, Makeup Remover & Tissue.

  • I am no longer offering assistants for weddings. However, I am happy to refer you to other amazing artists in the area, or book a second artists for your wedding according to their rates.

  • Winter is a beautiful and unique time of year to get married along the Sea to Sky corridor. However, with it can come weather challenges that you may not have considered.

    Saturday and Sunday "POW" days in Whistler. (this means potential for a lot of snow)

    Saturday and Sunday mornings before 9:30 am in Whistler can mean extreme traffic on highway 99 from Vancouver and Squamish.

    I am now requiring accommodation in Whistler or Pemberton for weekend bookings starting before 9am for bookings in the months of December, January and February to avoid delays or no shows caused by bad highway conditions, accidents or highway closures.

  • Destination weddings are any wedding bookings that require 2+ hours of driving, flying or require a ferry.

    Accommodation:

    Accommodation must be booked for artists for all destination weddings. 2 nights may be required depending on location. Please inquire.

    Services:

    Jacqueline can accommodate up to 7 services for destination weddings. Assistants are not available for this service.

    Fees:

    All travel fees must be covered by the client including, mileage, ferries, planes, accommodation and travel time.

  • Travel outside of Squamish is calculated at the standard rate of $0.73/km.

    If pay parking is required, it will be added to the bill and charge after the event.

    Ferry Reservation is mandatory for bookings. All rates as per BC Ferries.

    • In order to secure your booking a 30% deposit is required.

    • Bookings are taken at a first come first serve basis and are only secure if a deposit is paid.

    • Bookings that require a ferry or more than 2 hours travel must provide accommodation the night before the date of services.

    • All destination weddings have a minimum booking of 4 services.

    • A minimum is required for all bookings (before fees/tax/travel)

    • Monday - Thursday $450

    • Friday, Saturday & Sunday $1100 *not including the trial

    • long weekend Monday’s & Fridays: $1100

    • *You can still book if you are under the minimum with services chosen, but the minimum amount would still apply.
